Daniel Katz

Founder and Managing Principal

Daniel Katz is founder and managing principal of Danielist, a marketing communications boutique. He is a professional services marketing consultant with more than a decade of in-house experience. He has worked with high-level executives and law firm partners on creating and executing integrated communications and business development strategies in a wide range of markets. Daniel works closely with his clients to develop content that demonstrates their expertise and reflects their business goals.

Prior to founding Danielist, Daniel was the Marketing and Business Development Manager at Hogan Lovells charged with overseeing all marketing initiatives related to the Latin American market. He worked with regional practice and office leadership on a variety of marketing initiatives, from crafting multimillion-dollar client proposals and drafting multilingual marketing credentials to storyboarding digital advertising and executing major client events. He also advised on marketing strategy, new office integration, and client relationship management.

Before Hogan Lovells, Daniel was a founding member of the major proposals team at DLA Piper and a member of the media relations office for the Americas.

Daniel is also co-founder of Second Wave Learning, an education company focused on bringing Millennials successfully into the workforce,  and an active investor in a Latino civic engagement fund. He has advised non-profits and minority-owned small businesses on a variety of marketing issues and initiatives. He is fluent in Spanish and is a graduate of Tufts University.
